DUB TRIO |

On Wednesday 29th November Brooklyn’s Dub Trio opened the Tech Music Schools Jam night with a pounding hour set. Dub Trio fuse dub with punk and metal with great effect. They have been opening for Mike Patton’s Peeping Tom which also features Rahzel and Dan Automator. As well as opening they play in the Peeping Tom band. The trio are now off on a short UK tour with UK Ska Punksters Skindred. The band literally shook the place, with immense sub bass and metal blasts. Drummer Joe Tomino uses an array of triggers and echo effects on the kit in order to get a truly great dub sound. |

Once the band had finished the students took over to jam everything from rock to blues to funk. Later on in the evening Dub Trio DP Holmes and drummer Joe came back to jam with Head of Guitar John Wheatcroft and bass tutor Simon Horn. A superb night was had by all. |
