Former Libertines and current Dirty Pretty Things sticks man Gary Powell came to Drumtech recently to host a Masterclass for students.

Over the space of two hours he explained to students his interpretation of the drum set as well as talking about executing doubles and singles through build up. He also played a few Libertines numbers, a few songs with punk and fusion feels and also had a big jam with his brother Julian on vibes and percussion which saw the two trading 4’s between each other. The staff at Drumtech would like to thank Gary for coming down and showcasing his talent to our students.
